October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month - something that affects tens of thousands of families across North America each year, yet it is rarely talked about. So we are talking about it. And we are grateful to have reporter and editor Emma Gilchrist bravely join us to tell her story of pregnancy termination for medical reasons. She tells us about her journey and the many difficult decisions she had to make, how she found support, and shares valuable advice on how to support those around us who are grieving from loss. With conversations around abortion returning to the forefront of our societal discourse, Emma’s story presents an invaluable viewpoint of her firsthand experience allowing us all to approach the subject with deeper understanding and empathy.
